Capacity in a specific date range
When trying to find out the team’s capacity, start by using Streamtime’s Scheduling features combined with the Availability view. This view will tell you how many hours each team member is available for each week or month in the future and allows you to group the information by user or role. wayahead takes this a few steps further, allowing you to work out available hours between two specific dates.
Highlight issues in the planning
Additionally, this report will make certain issues float to the service, such as the volume of work overdue, items without due dates or when people have been assigned more work than they have time to complete. The total planned time is the sum of regular items planned ahead, overdue items and items without due dates. Each of these is often overlooked, but have a significant influence on the team’s capacity. You can choose to ignore each category to adjust the calculations.
