Validate the data in Streamtime
This report was created as a companion to the on screen Job Profit & Recovery report. Too often we find jobs in that report with mistakes in them. This could be because time wasn’t recorded, orders weren’t entered or invoices weren’t marked as sent. So every week we make a short list of jobs recently finished and mail them to the account manager for one last check. Once all the data is verified and confirmed, we can archive the job and forget all about it.
Focus on the jobs with a surprisingly high or low recovery. Too low means we probably didn’t book in all the costs. Too high means we may have forgotten to send out an invoice. You really want to catch these mistakes while it’s all still fresh.
Sanitition checklist
The sanitation checklist points out the things to verify on every job. This doesn’t just include making sure the job is financially sound, but also that it contains all the right labels for correct grouping by account manager and job type.
