Stream­time cap­tures an agen­cy’s jobs, timesheets, quotes, invoic­es and pur­chase orders. waya­head reads that data through the Stream­time API and turns it into man­age­ment information:

• Sum­marise – Core busi­ness data graphed and sum­marised by client, account man­ag­er, job type and more.
• Live data – Reports are always in sync with Stream­time; there are no CSV exports or stale spreadsheets.
• Enrich data – Adds infor­ma­tion Stream­time does­n’t hold on its own, such as bill­able vs. non-bill­able time.
• Auto­mate – Reports can be emailed auto­mat­i­cal­ly every week or month (“no-click reporting”).

waya­head offers a Mod­el Con­text Pro­to­col (MCP) serv­er, so cus­tomers can con­nect AI assis­tants such as Claude direct­ly to their waya­head account and work with their agency data in plain lan­guage (release end Octo­ber 2026). • No data repli­ca­tion – waya­head does not copy or store Stream­time data. Reports are gen­er­at­ed live from the API every time they run.
• Min­i­mal stored data – Some reports store small pieces of data that Stream­time can’t hold (e.g. a fore­cast saved as job ID, amount and month), usu­al­ly anonymised and linked by Stream­time record IDs.
• No login access to Stream­time – waya­head access­es data only through the API; it can­not log in to a cus­tomer’s Stream­time account. Data is only con­sult­ed for sup­port or devel­op­ment purposes.
• Access con­trol – Admin­is­tra­tors choose which users can see which reports, so sen­si­tive infor­ma­tion can be restricted.
• Pay­ments – Han­dled entire­ly by Stripe. waya­head does not store any cred­it card details, not even the last four digits.

waya­head builds bespoke reports and inte­gra­tions when stan­dard reports don’t cov­er a need — for exam­ple, repli­cat­ing a report an agency has been build­ing man­u­al­ly for years, or automat­ing data exchange between Stream­time and anoth­er platform.

waya­head was found­ed in 2018 by Miel, who worked for Stream­time for near­ly 10 years help­ing cre­ative agen­cies roll out and opti­mise their project man­age­ment. He built cus­tom reports first in File­Mak­er and lat­er on the Stream­time Clas­sic API. When Stream­time released an API for its cloud-based plat­form, he built the waya­head report suite on top of it. The app launched in sum­mer 2019.
